The Slice® box cutters have revolutionized safety with their ceramic safety blades and unique handles. The ergonomic handle wraps around your hand, protecting you while providing the perfect angle to expose only the necessary amount of blade. Our finger-friendly blades last longer and do not require a sharps disposal box, making them suitable for both single- and double-walled corrugated materials.
Slice® donates 1% of its sales to autism research charities. The 3-position manual slider button allows the blade to be locked in three positions: fully extended, semi-protruding, and fully hidden. The zirconium oxide ceramic blade, with its rounded tip, is non-conductive, anti-magnetic, never rusts, and chemically inert (no oil coatings). It stays sharp up to 10 times longer than steel blades.
One slice ceramic blade is equivalent to up to 20 metal blades, resulting in fewer blade changes, less downtime, and fewer injuries. The simple, tool-free blade change process makes it easy to replace the blade (replacement SKU# 10404 or 10408).
The ceramic blade protrudes only 1/2 inch, making it primarily designed for cutting corrugated packaging, foam, vinyl, boxes, and cardboard. For cutting paper and thinner items, users are encouraged to try the Slice 00116 precision cutter or the 00100 safety cutter, or to use the pointed blades (10408).
